OUR MISSION
Mask Production
Our masks are 3D printed using the Montana Mask Design created by Dr. Dusty Richardson, Dr. Spencer Zaugg and Colton Zaugg. The stl files (and more information about the mask) can be found at https://www.makethemasks.com/

To make the mask, we use window trimming to provide a snug and comfortable seal around the face. It is accompanied by adjustable elastic straps to secure around your head.

For the filters, we use MERV14 square cutouts provided by High Tech Filters. Alternatively, if a supply of surgical masks is handy, you can cut them into squares and insert them into the mask. This way, you can get six uses out of one surgical mask. The masks are made using PLA plastic and can easily be sanitized using any basic sanitizing solution.

Each mask costs $1-2 to make.

For more information on lab tests performed on the masks, take a look at the hospital resource packet linked below:

Face Shield Production
These printable face shields are simple to make. Using 1" elastic and a sheet of plastic transparency paper, we can provide extra protection to the frontline workers.

**Update: Many local companies have begun using injection molding processes to make the masks. They can produce thousands of masks each day so we will be focusing our efforts more on creating the mask.
